Where Does Virgin Hair Come From?
Virgin hair is 100% human hair — no synthetic blends, no silicone coatings, no cheap fillers. It undergoes a controlled chemical and steam process to create its texture pattern, giving you consistent, beautiful results from root to tip.
The Honest Truth About Processing
Here's what most brands won't tell you: virgin hair is processed. The chemical treatment and steaming that create textures like body wave, deep wave, and curly are intentional — and that's not a bad thing. What we can't claim, and won't claim, is that we know everything that was done to it before it reached us. Unlike raw hair, the full processing history isn't traceable. What we can guarantee is that it's 100% human hair — and that's the standard we hold ourselves to at Too Raw Hair.
Understanding Hair Grades
Virgin hair is graded by quality — here at Too Raw Hair we carry 15A, one of the highest grades available. Higher grades mean longer, aligned strands with intact cuticles — less tangling, less shedding, longer lasting. Lower grades often contain mixed or shorter strands, sometimes coated in silicone for temporary shine that fades fast.
Styles Available
Because virgin hair is steam-shaped, it comes in a variety of textures — body wave, deep wave, curly and more — giving you versatility without sacrificing quality.
